"Warm winter porridge with CADA muesli"

Who loves a warm bowl of porridge on a cold winter’s morning πŸ™‹πŸΌπŸ™‹πŸΌ
 
This delicious bowl of goodness kept me going until lunch. Not only are oats filling, they also provide a stack of vitamins and minerals, lower cholesterol, contain powerful soluble fibre such as beta- glucan and reduce constipation just to name a few benefits.
A great breakfast for the whole family to enjoy. πŸ‘­πŸ‘«πŸ‘ΆπŸ»
 
Warm winter porridge- serves 1
 
40 g rolled oats
120g milk
90g water or coconut water
 
CADA muesli -serves 4

40g desiccated coconut
40g almonds
40g pitted dates
1 apple quartered
 
Muesli - Place all ingredients in a processor, bullet or thermomix and whiz for a few secs to your desired texture. I like it chunky.
 
Porridge - Cook on low- medium in a saucepan until it thickens approx. 8 mins. Add 2-3 tbs of CADA muesli and sprinkle some cinnamon on top, stir through and serve.
You can store muesli in the fridge for another day.
