β€œPlant-based living got me feeling…happy!”

Eating a plant-based diet (even for a day!) will help you feel lighter, leaner, less tired, more energized and in my case and many others…happier πŸ’ƒπŸ» You might even notice that you have less β€œbrain fog” and your digestion is improved! If that is not enough, research also shows that it can help helps lower your risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, digestive diseases, colon and breast cancers, as well as obesity!

So I’ve got a challenge for you! Next week, experiment with eating a plant-based diet for one day and notice how you feel during, at the end of the day and the following day. I’m only asking for ONE day so even if you are away on holidays and don’t have access to your normal kitchen I’m confident that you can make this happen πŸ˜‰

If you’re having trouble coming up with ideas for your plant-based meals this might give you some inspiration...

πŸ“ Make a smoothie for breakfast, use almond milk and add in a plant-based protein powder with veggies eg baby spinach, steamed cauliflower and some fruit eg berries, bananas, avocado.

🍎 Have an apple and some green tea for a mid-morning snack.

🌱 Eat a salad for lunch with loads of cooked or raw veggeis, top it off with a sprinkling of your favorite nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds) and some delicious homemade oil-and-vinegar dressing.

πŸ₯‘ Veggie sticks with smashed avocado or hummus.

πŸ₯• Finish your day with a tofu and veggie stir-fry for dinner.
