9 years ago I was an unhappy, unhealthy and overweight 26 year old. I reached a turning point where I knew it was time for me to start looking after myself and shift the extra weight that had been dragging me down both physically and mentally for
so many years.

Off I went to my local oval and I started to run. I couldn't last anymore than 20 meters though and then I would have to walk as my fitness was so poor and my body felt heavy. Thankfully however, my mind was strong and despite the slow start, with persistence each week, I was able to slowly increase the distance I could run around that oval.

After a few months, I set goals to stay focused and registered for short local Fun Runs. My body had begun to change, my mood was lifted and I realised that I actually now enjoyed exercising. Exercise was no longer a chore, like it had felt in the beginning. Through a balanced diet and exercise in that year I lost 20kg and went from being able to run 20 meters around that oval to completing a Half Marathon and competing in numerous Triathlons.

After the birth of my daughter, I knew that I wanted to continue my journey and inspire
other women to make a positive change to their lives too. I completed my Fitness
Instructor qualifications and went on to work with Dani teaching on a casual basis. We
loved working together so much we decided to join forces and create Stellar Performance.
My passion is to inspire women to move, fuel and love their bodies! In my personal life
and as a trainer, I demonstrate a strong belief that women need to have a positive
relationship with food and that exercise is about enjoyment and creating a strong mind
and body.

When I am not teaching amazing women at our classes, I am sweating it out at a CrossFit class, lifting weights, spending time with my family and eating delicious food!
