"Member of the Month for July"

Meet our beautiful Member of the Month for July!  We are so proud of Jules and wanted to share her motivational and inspirational story with you.

Jules has struggled with her weight most of her life.  Four years ago she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and has been taking anti inflammatory medication which have helps control her symptoms.  Since November last year has lost an incredible 25 kilos.

Jules joined Stellar in April this year and since doing so is feeling stronger & fitter. Her recent blood test results showed that her anti inflammatory markers are the lowest they have ever been & I she has reduced her medication from 30mg to 20mg....WINNING!!!

When Jules joined Stellar, she explained that she liked the idea that she needed to book into classes and was held accountable for showing up.  Her main goals were to decrease her Body Fat %, increase her fitness and hopefully eventually be able to stop taking her anti inflammatory medication.

Jules we love your can do attitude in our classes, you are an inspiration to others and we are 110% behind you in your continued success on your health and fitness journey!

We asked Jules to answer the Member of the Month questions and here is what she had to say:

1. What is your biggest achievement since joining our health & fitness group?

I feel a lot stronger & have discovered muscles I didn't know I had!

2. What is your favourite type of workout?

The Xtrainer - it's a hard workout but I can see the results.

3. What is your main health and fitness goal for the next 12 months?

Lose more weight & increase my fitness levels, including my core strength.

4. Share your favourite recipe with us?

I don't really have a favourite recipe but I like to snack on either Perino tomatoes or Sweet Solanato tomatoes (grape-shape look) which have a sweet aftertaste. I'm avoiding carbs at the moment so I'll also make a tomato, cucumber & artichoke (in brine) salad which is great with chicken or lamb kebabs.

5. Hit us with your favourite motivational saying?

"No pain No gain" - it's a bit of a cliche but it seems to be working!

Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions Jules and congratulations again!  We are so proud of your achievements and can't wait to see where your journey takes you!

As a small recognition of your efforts we want to shout you a healthy breakfast/lunch at Mezapicca in Leichhardt.

Congratulations again lovely!  We are so proud of you!
