I have always had a passion for the health and fitness. At the age of 21, I became a group fitness instructor for many types of programs such as body pump, x-trainer, indoor cycling and cardio boxing.
In 2009 I trained up as a Mat Pilates instructor and realized the importance of strong core stability to improve posture and reduce injuries.
After having my 2 beautiful boys, I fell victim to many long term injuries such as pelvic misalignment, SIJ pain, bladder weakness and mild shoulder tear.
I felt like I had lost control of my body and my life. Worst of all, I started to put on weight and felt very disheartened.
I decided enough was enough and started on a mission to improve my health, strength, fitness and well-being!
Not only did I lose 10 kg, completely reduce inflammation in my shoulder through a very clean whole diet and re align my pelvis, I was fitter and stronger than I had ever been!
I went on to run 3 x ½ marathons in the space of 12 months and now I am living proof that you can do anything you put your mind to.
It was through this life changing process I decided to make it my mission to improve the health and well-being of as many women as possible.
Over the past 6 years, my focus has been training small groups of women with an emphasis on strengthening the deep core muscles fusing Pilates, weight training and cardio in each workout to give our clients the foundations for a strong, fit mind and body for life! I like to look at it as a lifestyle change!
The beauty of smaller groups is it allows time to physically correct technique and posture so our women get the most out of the training with a very effective outcome.
I love my job so much; I don’t think of it as work!! Just fun here at Stellar Performance!
My hobbies outside of teaching group fitness are spending quality time with my family, music, running, going on beach holidays, enjoying good food /wine and a good old catch up with close friends!!
